Create More Flexible Engagement Agents with the New Agentforce Builder

Engagement agents built on the Agent Script-based Engagement agent template are now created and edited in the new Agentforce Builder inside the Agentforce Studio app, giving finer control via custom business rules and guardrails; the older Engagement (Legacy) template still uses the Setup-based Agentforce Builder. The New Agent button was removed from the Setup Agentforce Builder on July 13, 2026, and some settings (Send as Seller, Require Manual Approval, Agent Working Hours) moved to Cadence Settings on the agent details.
