Preview Records from Lightning Reports Without Losing Context (Beta)
Record preview in Lightning reports (beta) opens a record's details in a side panel while the report's filters, columns, and record list stay visible, so users can move between records without leaving the report. Enable 'Show record previews on Lightning Reports (Beta)' in Reports and Dashboards Settings, then use the eye icon in report view mode.
