Download Metadata from Backup Snapshot

You can now download the metadata from a backup as a ZIP file containing an unmanaged package in XML format, and use it with your normal deployment tools to recover deleted or corrupted components instead of rebuilding them by hand. Package metadata can also be retrieved with the Metadata API or Salesforce CLI. In the Backup and Recover Next app, open the Backups tab, select the metadata backup, and click Download ZIP File.
