Salesforce Winter '27 platform events in Event Studio

Admins and developers can now edit **Platform Events Subscriber Config**, displayed as **Apex Trigger Details**, in Event Studio. Previously, this configuration was accessible only through the Metadata or Tooling API.

Standard volume retirement: deadline and migration window

Standard volume platform events retire on **December 15, 2026**. Convert all standard volume platform events to high volume platform events before that date.

Assign an admin as migration owner. Before starting, the owner should tell affected business teams that **publishes fail during migration**, allow for **roughly 15 minutes per event**, and flag the rare possibility of **up to 24 hours**. The technical change notice should also state that **new triggers and flows cannot be created during migration**.

Run the migration in the required order

Assign a developer to stop publishing and confirm subscriber completion before the admin starts the conversion:

  1. **Developer: stop all publishing.**
  2. **Developer: let subscribing triggers and flows finish, then confirm completion.**
  3. **Admin: open Setup > Platform Events** and use the migration button to convert all standard volume platform events to high volume platform events.
